  The Friesian horse breed is the biggest pride of horse breeding in Holland, famous for its long history. The Friesian breed was first recorded in the 13th century. But even after so much time, the modern representatives of this breed have retained many of the characteristics of their ancestors. Distinctive features of these "black pearls" are their beautiful appearance, thick hair of the mane, tail and attendants, black color and sweeping powerful gaits. The proportional structure of the noble head, located on a slightly curved neck is a perfect embodiment of the elegant appearance of this breed and its proud posture.
